1. Late arrival/missed sessions

In-person sessions

Sessions are booked for specific times. If you arrive early, please wait until your appointment time.

If you arrive late, the session cannot be extended and will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not contacted us, the session will be treated as a cancellation without notice.

2. Online/telephone sessions

For online or telephone sessions, we will contact you at the agreed time. If the call is unanswered, we will try again shortly afterwards.

If we do not hear from you within 15 minutes of the scheduled start, the session will be treated as a cancellation without notice. The session time will still run from the agreed start time.

If there are technical issues, we will make reasonable efforts to continue the session using an alternative method. If the session cannot proceed due to issues outside our control, the appointment may still be chargeable.

3. Cancellations

We understand that schedules change and there may be times when you need to reschedule. When cancelling a session please give as much advance notice as possible to enable the time to be made available for other clients.

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, no fee will be charged.

 If you cancel within 48 hours or do not attend, the full session fee remains payable as the time has been reserved for you.

4. Exceptional circumstances

In cases of genuine emergency, we may, at our discretion, reduce or waive the cancellation fee.

If appointments are repeatedly cancelled, we may require a non-refundable pre-payment for future sessions.

5. If we cancel

If we need to cancel or rearrange a session, we will provide as much notice as possible. You will not be charged for appointments we cancel and we will agree an alternative time for the session where appropriate.

6. Right to terminate services

We reserve the right to end the working relationship where appropriate, including in cases of non-payment, repeated non-attendance or inappropriate behaviour. Where pre-paid sessions are affected by such circumstances, a full refund will be provided.
